Lockdown to 2021!

It’s here, the 2nd national lockdown, it has been on the cards for some time, and will commence from the 5th November until the 2nd December (maybe), how will this affect your marketing within your business?

Do you have a marketing plan and has your business made the relevant adjustments for this 2nd lockdown?

Most of our clients have their lockdown measures in place and are now shifting their focus to 2021 . They are strategically looking to enter the New Year with a positive outlook, and how to best adapt their business in these uncertain times.

What better way to start the new year than to have a new marketing plan, to support your key objectives. If you are asking when should you be doing this you? The answer to that is now!  If you are going to get ahead of the competition and be fully prepared. 2021 will obviously be a new year for all, but the smart businesses will be the ones looking at 2020 and developing new strategies and taking on the ever-growing challenge of change.

The plan has to be “oozing” with positivity and excitement with a creative edge that stands above your competition- a plan that the wholes business, across every team and discipline, can engage with and support – only then will it truly happen!

Here are a few tips on how to achieve this:

1: Look at your content and how this can be improved or updated, make adjustments where possible to make your message more relevant by adding USP’s, core values, goals and achievements.

2: Fresh Graphic design and imagery for your website and social media, engaging your visitors and audiences with new visual content.

3: Social media calendars are a great way to capture the attention of your audience, look at upcoming national events and them with your own branding.

4: Pay per click is a very effective tool that can bring instant and increased traffic to your website, researching keywords and phrases will be key to its level of effectiveness. Google’s Search & Display Advertising rank as the best forms of PPC advertising, but also look into Social Media paid to advertise depending on what the goal is, for example, growing your audience and/or driving traffic to your website.

5: Communicate your plan internally and externally – get everyone involved and onboard and keep them up to date with the results. Customers and employees will want to support and share!
