Market research

Firstly, we did competitor research to establish what was already out there in the market and to find opportunities for our client to fulfil to help them stand out. We presented our findings to the client, along with our initial design ideas, mood board and suggestions.

Branding creation

Working collaboratively with the client, we designed and created a number of different brand elements that would help reposition the brand, including the colour palette and social media templates to ensure consistency. We then designed new business cards letter heads and email templates.

Website development

Using the new brand elements and palette, we designed and built a new website that effectively communicates key messages and offers users a smooth and intuitive experience, whether they arrive from search engines, social media or direct channels.

Content development

Using the new branding templates, we then created a monthly social media plan to help drive potential new clients to the website. We also created blog content that would help attract relevant organic visitors to the website when searching for information on topics around accountancy challenges that businesses and individuals face.

Description

The client is an accountancy firm based on the Wirral with clients based across the UK. They offer services such as bookkeeping, payroll, managed accounts and VAT support. The company had a change in management in 2023.

The challenge was rebranding for the company, to signify a new chapter with the boardroom changes, and helping them to cement a strong position within the market.

The accountancy company asked Umbrella Marketing Team to help them rebrand the company as the old branding had been in place from previous management for many years. This rebrand would include creating a website and social media presence within the new branding.

The goal was to create a brand that felt more current and up-to-date, resonated with the audience and was consistent across all touch points.
